The author (Janice Potter) of this site has passed away in Canada on the 12th of September 2022.

Original text from the Author.
First please let me say thanks to all of the people over the past 15 years, who have helped me along the way especially The Priaulx Library, Stephen Foote, Peter Guilbert, Terry Dowinton, Mike Thomas, Larue Olsen, Lorna Pratt, Hazel Taylor, Marie Holland, Liz Hutchins, the late Rev. Thomas Ozanne, the late Tom Roussel, the late Peter House, and many more too numerous to mention. Without them this web site would never have been possible.
The Muller branch is from Soleure, Switzerland, however I have next to no knowledge of these families, please feel free to contact us for any help you can provide.
The Guernsey, families are large and spread throughout the world, and not limited to Guernsey origin, they do also include, Jersey, Sark, Normandy, England(specifically Cornwall), Australia, and New Zealand I have much more than what is shown here, please feel free to contact me with your queries. I can be contacted through the Guest Book or direct email at castelgsy@rogers.com
The Potter branches also stem far and wide, from Canada, USA, Scotland, Ireland, England, Wales, France and Germany.
The Thurman families which have now been added are from USA, England, Wales and Germany.
Please advise me of any errors and or corrections that need to be made, I am by no means claiming to be perfect. Have fun browsing, and I will add more as time goes on.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks for reading!
Jan Potter

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.

please select Juvenile Diabetes as your charity of choice, Lets try and cure this disease because another beautiful young person is taken!
